About Us

Our story begins in Germany. We met before Dano's 19th birthday and started dating shortly after. We fell in love almost immediately and shared beautiful moments together. But after 2 years our paths diverged, and we went our separate ways.

After 3 years apart, we started dating again. We both had grown and changed, but our love for each other was still there. We decided to give it another try and started a long-distance relationship. Dano was still pursuing his studies in Germany, but Pili's wild spirit had taken her to Dubai.

Two years later, Dano finsihed his studies and moved to Dubai. We were finally together again, and we started building our life together.

Our first big adventure together was a trip to Thailand - we visited Bangkok, Phuket and the Phi Phi Islands. We fell in love with the culture, the food, and the people. It was a trip that changed our lives forever.

We were hooked. After Thailand we were working for the next big trip - we traveled to Bali, Oman, South Africa, Mozambique and Lombok within the next 10 months.

Our first big content creation job was in the Caribbean. We were hired by Small Luxury Hotels to create visual content for some of their boutique hotels. It was a dream come true for us, and we knew that this was what we wanted to do for a living. These were 3 weeks of intense work, but we learned a lot. This same year we also travelled to Kenya, Zanzibar (Tanzania) and India.

This year was a turning point for us. We decided to quit our jobs after a life-changing web-dev bootcamp in Bali. We wanted to create a lifestyle that would allow us to travel the world and work from anywhere. We started building our brand, and we were determined to make it work, but then the pandemic hit. We were stuck in Dubai for some time and were forced to relocate to Europe for a bit, waiting for Bali to open it's borders. It was a tough time, but we managed to gather incredible memories and snuck in some trips to Italy, Greece and Malta. Eventually we made it back to Bali, where we spent the rest of the year.

Without knowing it we had gotten used to the nomadic lifestyle, but with the world shut down, we had to adapt. We explored Bali and its surroundings, and we started creating content for local businesses. We also started working on our own projects, like our travel blog and YouTube channel. Our agency started to take shape.

Unable to really make a nomadic life work because of the pandemic, our lives naturally started to settle down. We also changed our priorities and started focusing on the branding agency. Our content creation trips became less frequent, and more targeted. After launching our website templates marketplace - THE STARTUP MARKET, life became more intense, but also more rewarding. We were finally able to work on our own terms, and we were building a business that we loved.

After a year of many changes, we started a new chapter in our lives with House of Creations Bali - we designed and renovated a beautiful villa in Bali, where we now host brands for photoshoots and nightly guests. Pilianddano started to dilute into separate brands, with Pili shifting her interests into Lifestyle and Content Creation for brands, and Dano focusing on Web Development and Photography.

After opening House of Creations Bali, we are now focusing on building our own brands and projects. We are also working on expanding our agency and helping more businesses grow through innovative design.

Being able to onboard dozens of clients for brand-shoots, we decided to open a retreat to show brand owners how to create content for their own brands.
